Gyokuro Karigane is made from the veins and stems of the tea leaves. The stems and veins of this grade of gyokuro karigane are made from premium gyokuro tea leaves. They are shaded for 20-30 days before harvesting.

Flavor: Sweeter side of umami with a hint of creaminess.

Aroma: Fresh greens

Brewing Instructions:

• 7-8g of tea (1.5 tablespoons)

• 200 ml water (7 oz)

• 60-70 C (140 - 158 F)

• 2 minutes if 140F

• 1.5 minutes if 158F
